Microphone troubles.

Ok so one of my online friends that i play a game with is in S korea. When he tries to talk on ventrilo it makes a beeping sound. I am pretty adept at ventrilo as well as mics/sound audio issues. However i have no idea why his computer is doing this. Any suggestions?

This is my EXACT problem lol. Except my mic doesnt show up on my computer, or it has a problem with it or something.

Hi Pandamonium, Are you saying your PC makes a bleeping noise when he speaks? Or the other way around?

What he means is that when you press the hetkey to talk on ventrilo, you make a beep noise like an "!" error on your computer. that noise. And the other users in the channel hear that noise too..

I'll do some research on ventrilo before i give further instructions. Bare with me because my internet is playing up again… thanks for your patience, 'Bob
