Some time back, I installed Ultimate Startup Manager by GigaBest ( a misnomer if there ever was one ). I didn't really care for it , and uninstalled it. However, despite my best efforts to remove the three entries from my registry, they keep coming back. So far I have tried to remove them with Hijack this, Ewido Anti-Spyware 7.5, and Registry Mechanic. All three seem to remove the entries , as evidenced by follow up HJT scans, but shortly thereafter, they're back. These entries are a source of an error on boot up, which I find annoying. In addition, I am bothered by the fact that the writer made these entries so persistant. To what end? To piss of the end user who tried but didn't buy his product? Who knows?

When you examine the log, the items in question are all in the 04 section, and are the two with "USM", and a third with "Buy Me Now", in the lines.
