I am trying to help a friend with their comptuer. I cannot access control panel, it gives me the following error: Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. My hope was to do a windows repair, but I dont think that they ever setup the administrator account. when it asks for a password i dont have one to enter and it wont accept a blank one. I set one of the users up as an administrator and gave that account a password, but Windows repair wouldnt accept it. is there anyway to edit the administrator account if it doesnt show up anywhere so that I can add a password to it? Any help would be appreciated very much. Thanks Eric
