After 1909 is installed what are some things to do?

If satisfied,  should I remove system files which includes a couple of GB of Windows updates?

Also, should I make a new stick and a clean install? I noticed at the MCT there is only a May month not a November so this likely is a service pack type update like the old days not a new OS??.

If so just tidy up and adjust restore point and an image?

What versions are you on now (run winver from a run box)?

I'm at 1903 18362.449 so the update to 1909 will be minimal. I won't do anything special other than a Macrium Reflect backup before applying 1909. I'll let Windows Update do it's thing.

Did a Check for updates, got KB4524572 which moved me to 1903 18362.476.

Did another Check for updates and got Feature Update to Windows 10, version 1909.

Installed in less that a minute and I'm now at 1909:

Went from 1903 18362.476 to 1909 18363.476

I think all tihis did was make the switch to 18363 and 1909. No additional changes.

I am in the same position as you. I did the image before and after and all runs well. No big change I can see. TY
