I am having an issue that i cannot seem to pinpoint with my system. Normally i can run a game like BF4 with multiple chrome tabs in the background and some other apps like itunes for example. As of 2 days ago however now if i have so much as 2 chrome tabs and BF4 running my cpu usage spikes to 100% and the system begins to hang. After looking at the last manager all looked well until i noticed something called nad64.exe taking upto 30% of my cpu power at random time, I am lost as to the cause of this and would appreciate some help.

i have included my speccy and ccleaner uninstall and startup lists

nad64.exe is part of Google Crome. Uninstall it and try a different browser like Firefox or Palemoon.

DO you use all the games you have installed? There are a lot of them! Uninstall any you no longer play.

most of the games are installed on one of 2 data drives but i supposed i dont need ALL of them.

As for Chrome, why would it be fine basically since i built this machine then all of the sudden start this crap? i really like chrome

You may have inadvertantly added a new extension or add-on to Chrome.

Try disabling all extensions and add-ons and see how much CPU nad64.ex is useing then.

Other people are experiencing problems with performance while using Chrome. I would guess it's due to recent updates.

Firefox and Palemoon are good alternatives.

if i have so much as 2 chrome tabs and BF4 running my cpu usage spikes to 100% and the system begins to hang.

Just out of curiosity as an occasional gamer, why would you have chrome open at all let alone two tabs while playing BF4?

I've never played any game that requires an open browser. Does BF4 require it as it's a game I've never played?

what i would try is to uninstall both chrome and all java from your machine, update your graphics driver, reinstall chrome and java if needed for bf4, if not don't reinstall java. then make sure your flash player is set to use hardware acceleration and then see if things improve.

maybe something got corrupted and removing and reinstall will fix that for you.
