T This is the card I'm looking at to get;

http://cgi.ebay.com/ATI-Radeon-512MB-PCI-E…396671605794285

ATI Radeon 512MB PCI Express HDMI Video Graphics Card

2 Monitors are Hdtv/pc ~one with dvi & vga hookups + both have HDMI and one (Toshiba) with only vga and HDMI my roku player works on the HDMI so would my Toshiba connect to my pc with HDMI connector.

If my pc card has a HDMI as this card does could the monitor be used with a HDMI cord?
not sure exactly what your wanting to know but yes you can connect a pc to a tv/monitor by using the hdmi cable.
and yes that card should work fine for the job.
biggest problem with pc cards and hdmi used to be they didn't pass sound through the connection, but i don't think that's been a problem for a long time now.
ati have their on board sound solution and nvidia uses a spidif passthrough solution(connect cable to the motherboards spdif output).

also even if cards don't have a hdmi port(mine doesn't) you can still use a hdmi lead to connect to a tv/monitor, it just means you'll need a dvi adapter like this.. http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?…9-007-_-Product

not 100% sure at the moment, having a brain dead moment, but think that what ever card you decide on, it does need to have dvi outs(don't think vga works) to use hdmi with sound tho. or of course a hdmi port. i also think the card you have now will work fine too.
