I had a nice alienware computer i bought a few years back, i just came back from iraq and after i dusted it off i realized i need a new pc. so im custom building mine piece by piece again. heres the specs for what i got so far. now price really isnt an option but theres a limit, i aint spending a —– grand on a moniter ok, lol. no $500 video cards. but u know 200-300 range for a cpu and the same for a video card i can live with.

Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit (upgrading/downgrading to Windows 7 Professional 64 bit to use all my ram)
Biostar TA790GX A3+ Motherboard Socket AM3
2 250GB Seagate HDD and 1 500GB Seagate HDD
4x1GB Kingston 1333MHz RAM (want to upgrade to 4x2 in the future)
Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS Graphics Card (i heard nvidia has better technology for multiple monitors but ati has better graphics cards for gaming with the 5850 and 5750)
AMD Athlon II X4 630 2.80 GHz Processor (the Phenom II X6 Black Edition looks sexy but dont know if thats the best or the i7 would be the best)
not gonna bother with speakers keyboard and mouse, i know what i want for those already and i know the case i want unless someone can show me one sexier i like and im very picky heres a link to it
NZXT Nemesis

oh my power supply i have is a Hipro 700W, unless i need to replace it or i would need to upgrade it even higher in a year or so i would like to just keep that there, but if there is a power supply that looks sexy enough i might get it. i chose this case partly cause it looks bad— and cause i want my computer to be as powerful as it is beautiful and bad—. so looks mean just as much as performance to me.

now i said in my topic description up there that i want to run triple monitors. now with that said i want a moniter stand that can hold that, ive found a few kinda pricy 200-300 bucks but ill deal. the highest they will hold is 19" which is fine. but finding the perfect moniter that isnt that expensive cause imma be buying 3 of them isnt easy to do. plus i have to make sure that the video card i get can support that with crossfire x compatibility if i'm going with ati and im pretty sure all of nvidias geforce are compatible to work with multi monitors but i could be wrong. at least all of them in the past oh idk say by 7000 series im guessing should be. anyways if theres anymore questions please ask if you need anymore information. trying to find the most bang for my buck while keeping performance high on my list and if i can find parts that look bad— i.e. UV wiring, lighting, water cooling. also had a question if anyone knows about water cooling with my case would it work, how does it work, im pretty tech savvy but im new to the water cooling deal. which one would u reccommend? thanks in advance for the help :D

Hey mate, I would say to keep the CPU as it is good enough for what you need (you would need a new motherboard for the better ones I think). I would suggest you go with an ATI card if I was you. They have a better bang-for-the-buck then Nvidea cards generally and they use less power and produce less heat (not saying that ATI is better but it's my opinion). I currently have an HD5770 and I would recommend it as it plays any game very well. However, I would say to get something like a HD5850 or better as you have a higher price limit then I did last christmas :D The ATI Card should work with multiple monitors - 2 per card I think it is. Hope this helps you mate, Redeye
ok i want to do 3 monitors though, so if i put my primary monitor (the middle one) and the secondary (left or right dont matter) then could i put the third monitor to my motherboard with no problems? i mean obviously the third monitor would have l less resolution and it wont be as fast but thats why its the third monitor. any suggestions on monitors? or any old monitor will do? i found a monitor stand that will hold 3 monitors but only up to 19" per monitor as a max. so id like to keep the 19" mark. but im not sure what is the best resolution and monitor would be? any ideas? also wanted to do liquid cooling but i want it to look badass, as in uv green lighted tubing and a reservoir. but i dont know if a reservoir will fit in my case, i have a link posted above can anyone tell me how to tell if a reservoir for liquid cooling will fit in a case and where would be the best place to put it?
yes a reservoir and pump will fit in your case, where your going to put them and how to connect it to the case depends on what type you use.. something like this http://www.specialtech.co.uk/spshop/custom…1631&page=1 is probably the easiest to fit and use, it just slides into 2 spare drive bay slots.

this one is small(so should fit no problems) and quite popular too i think, http://www.specialtech.co.uk/spshop/custom…1630&page=1

it's all down to ones own tastes, lots out there that should fit, personally i don't use a reservoir just a t line fill port.

best thing to do tho is get the case install everything then you can see and measure how much space you have left in there for fitting what you need.
