Hi folks,
I have a problem with Outlook 2003 (with service pack 3) on a Windows 7 laptop. For some reason, when some people email me PDF attachments the body of the emails display both the messages and the attachment as raw HTML and text. I copied and pasted one of the emails below (I removed some of the message text and attachment text for the sake of brevity, as well as replaced portions of people's email addresses and names with *'s for privacy).
Thanks for any help :-)

* CORRECTION:
I just noticed that this problem is happening with other kinds of attachments as well, not just PDFs. They appear as inline text in the message body. But it only occurs with emails from a few certain users. I can email PDF and PPS attachments to myself no problem, and receive such attachments from other users as well without issue. Any thoughts?

Looks to me that the "sender" is making a mistake with how they are using "Insert" command. ________________- Insert: picture, document, object ________________ vs ________________ Insert: File ___________________________________ In the first instance Outlook will attempt to "display" the content into the body of the email In the second instance Outlook will insert the data file, and the receiver's machine will download the file and then attempt to open the picture, pdf, document, etc. with the appropriate application.
