windows update issue

I got this message mshtml.dll was loaded but dll register server entry point not found. this file can not be registered I did all the rest

That's not an error code, just an informational message, ignore it, I do. Are you still being offered the updates now that you've told Update not to show them any more?

no i'm not being offered the update. I have noticed that my computer keeps getting "stuck". when i try to go onto another page or site…it gets stuck–on the bottom it says done but it wont move to the next page or site. I have to close the window by Xing it out. I have tried everything else. any other suggestions.

The problem you started this thread for is now resolved, correct?

The problem you now have is that sometimes when you click on a link (in E-mail or where?) it takes you to a blank page. This is using FireFox, right?

What extensions for FireFox do you have installed. Have you installed the latest version (3.6)?
The easiest way to do this is to click on Help then Check for Updates.

Also, try creating a new FireFox profile and using that for awhile: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Creating_a_new_F…file_on_Windows

Does this happen if you use Internet Explorer? What about another browser like Google Chrome or Opera
