Ie7 won't open any links, or pages with a download. i recently had huge problems with viruses, but they are gone now. i'm at a complete loss on how to fix this.

I used the spybot search and destroy program, and bought avg 8.o. I read the welcome for new members, but i can't download the file they suggest for the registry. i can't even get to the page.
