usb info

hi, i have quite an old hp laptop, recently i tried to up-load a program from a usb stick, i got an on screen message that my usb port was low speed. is there any-way i can up the speed of my usb port. thanks tuxedo

Hi, if the physical port in your laptop is low speed (USB1) then its probably best to consider a USB 2 port via a PCMCIA card..these are very cheap to buy now The search term you need is along the lines of: USB2 card+PCMCIA Regards paws
