Every time I go on the Internet I'll get tons of popups for fake Antivirus programs and other nonsense. It won't go away! Also, my Symantec Antivirus isn't working anymore because it can't find some vcp32.exe file [something like that] Any help!? Oh, and it only seems to be happing on this account [it's not an administrator account] The administrator account seems okay…I haven't checked the other 2 accounts on here. Not sure if both of them are non administrator or not… I'm using IE, by the way. Firefox seems to be fine.
Hello honeybee12874

Welcome to the Whatthetech Malware Removal Forum, sorry about the delay, but the amount of people posting with infected computers is through the roof and sometimes we can't get to logs as fast as we would like to. It appears that your log fell though the cracks and I apologize for that. If you have not resolved your issue and still need assistance I need to see a Hijackthis log.

Download Trendmicros Hijackthis to your desktop.
  • Double click it to install
  • Follow the prompts and by default it will install in C:\Program Files\Trendmicro\Hijackthis\Highjackthis.exe
  • Open HJT Scan and Save a Log File, it will open in Notepad
  • Go to Format and make sure Wordwrap is Unchecked
  • Go to Edit> Select All…..Edit > Copy and Paste the new log into this thread by using the Post Reply and not start a New Thread.
DO NOT have HijackThis fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.
