Alright, so over the last week I've had my first real battle with SpyWare / Malware / etc. Over the last year I've had some occasional problems, but nothing that Norton / AdAware couldn't seem to cure for me. Then this little bugger came along, and I've installed quite a bit of anti-virus and anti-spyware stuff and there are STILL pop ups and redirects occuring when I launch FireFox. (And in turn, it launces IE when the Firefox tab opens up).

Over the last week, I've installed (after removing Norton for good, at least I think):
- BitDefender 2008 and scanned my system. It allegedly removed a ton of stuff.
- Super Anti Spyware, which allegedly removed a ton of more stuff.
- SpyBot S&D, which much like the previous two: allegedly removed a ton of stuff.
- VundoFix, which I don't recall it finding anything.
- VundoBeGone, which found something but it seemed to lock my PC.

So like I've mentioned, I open up my Firefox and within 30 seconds a new tab opens with SmacChat or some sports betting site, or some random music video sites.

After browsing through the forums a little bit, I've seen that some recommended programs are: Hijack This, ComboFix, ATF Cleaner and CC_something. I've downloaded those appropriate files.

Here is my HijackThis File:

Any help would be appreciated. Suggestions on any other errors you might see in there, as well, would be lovely. I don't fear having to reformat my PC, but I don't really want to go that route. Anyhow, thank you for your assistance.

I've actually run a few of the directions after skewering the other threads, and all seems to be taken care of. :)
