everytime I try to send info from my word or excel files, a window pops up asking me for my log in name. I don't have a log in name, I don't even know where or what this is about. Can some please help me. How do I get this off my computer,
Hi Sherron67, Can you clarify what you mean by 'send info' from Word/Excel files? When you first log into Word/Excel or MS Office applications you may be asked for a username, i am unsure if this is what you mean? If so, you can call it 'Administrator' or your own name, it wouldn't make any difference. thanks, Bob
hello sherron67.

what version of office do you have?

…to send info from my word or excel files…

send ms word doc to where? are you attaching it through a certain program? or?

am not sure yet of what this is but since you mentioned login name, try going to TOOLS then go to OPTIONS. check if there's a username box under the general or user info tab. try to experiment it. ^_^..

by the way, what happens after it asks you the login name? can you click cancel and it still goes through?
Loging into a NET passport.com account perhaps ? Windows Live ID now….? Your USER account is your login name. and the password for that account is the password it is asking for. Make sure you are in the correct user account.
