Hi everyone! I am very glad that I found this forum because now my computer is safer than ever, not to mention that it is a ton faster. I installed a game called Diablo 2 and after playing online play, my computer would become incredibly slow to the point where I would have to restore to factory settings. I came to this site to find a way to secure my computer better while improving performance. I decided not to play the game anymore but was happy to find ways to improve my computers performance and security. Thank you! W.S.
I spoke to a friend of mine and he said it was probably a memory leak. I run NOD 32 and zone alarm. Would it be safe to install the game again? He said I should look for something eating away at a lot of memory in the process tab.
Welcome Stewart.

You can check what processes are running via Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Delete). If you have 512MB of RAM processor for example, setting the game quality (luster, contrast, color and graphic enhancement), wouldn't be recommended, thus the game would be slow. A 1 or 2GB of RAM will make the game run smoother.
I've played Halo 1 on Windows XP Home, and wow was it a drag. It was slow and even turning around and shooting was like in slow-motion.

Safe surfing. NOD32 and ZoneAlarm should be updated.

Remember not to use more than one AV or firewall. Doing so will cause conflicts.

Remember to use anti-spyware programs too.

Safe surfing ^_^
