Hi, when i click on "My Document" i get a message: "This page has an unspecified potential security risk. would you like to continue" I ran adware and the virus scan: no malware found please help

What is giving you the message?

If you access My Documents through:

The Start Menu,
My Computer, or
By navigating down through the folders to c:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Desktop\My Documents

do you get the same error?

When did this start?

Ummm, did you forget to type in the answers?



I have posted reply many times but i do not see it on the post.
anyway, error appears only when i click on "my document "from the desktop. not from the other places.

That's 2 out of 3! ;) What is giving you this message? Your anti-malware programs, or Windows or what? It appears to be something wrong with that shortcut. Rather than just deleting it, right click on a blank space on your desktop and click Properties > Desktop > Customize Desktop. Then, under Desktop icons, uncheck My Documents, then OK your way back out. Reboot, then go back into your desktop properties and check that box again and see what happens.
