Optusnet –> Motorola Cable Modem –> D-Link Router –> 4 PCs ( XP and Vista Ultimate) Hi, Really annoying problem occurs intermittently when one of our PC's is turned on. Our router loses internet connectivity, though we still have share access to other PC's on the home network. This loss can be restored by unplugging the router and plugging it back in, but this problem can occur as often as once evry 5 minutes. It only seems to occur when my daughter's PC is on( a six month old PC running XP professional with CA security suite) and more frequently at peak times. She is constanly on Windows messenger (no surprise eh?) if that gives anyone clues. And help, or ideas for futher research appreciated.
