Hi guys, great source of help and information, keep up the good work. Hopefully I will be able to contribute some day ^^
Problem: Intermittent connection to internet, happens every 5 to 20 min, none time specific, drops anywhere from 1 sec to 2 min. 2 xp machines hard wired to modem 2 feet away, win 7, 3 android, 2 ipad, 1 mac, wireless connected. All platforms drops at same time.
Facts: Time Warner sent out techs to visit 4 times, replaced modem once, verified wiring good/solid, replaced underground wire from street box to house connector.
Observation: During drop out, unable to ping, pathping, or tracert. modem show no disconnection of any sort, lights blazing as normal. tech support from isp says connection is solid.

I believe the problem lie out side of my house, a line from upper connection possibly crossed or grounded with someone else.
Question: Is it possible that I have a worm/software/malware/hardware that's crawling on my network, and preventing all my platforms from solid connection?
Any input is highly appreciated, and thank you very much for the time you have spend reading and pondering this.
Sincerely,
James
