SIS300 driver not functioning normally reboot to restore
Your SIS300 refers to your Graphics Adapter.
Sis also make other chips and Drivers for audio, IDE storage, network interface/LAN etc.
Drivers get assigned to IRQ channels (a direct line to the CPU to tell the CPU that it now immediately needs to allocate resources to the component function associated with the driver.)
There are 16 IRQ channels to carry instructions from various drivers to the CPU.
Since there are more than 16 drivers controlling various functions of the computer, IRQ Sharing is assigned such that drivers that are not likely to send messages demanding CPU time at exactly the same time can share the same Channels.
Driver failures sometimes lead back to IRQ conflicts.

The first/best resolution of such problems is the one that you have already performed with apparent success.
That is, Uninstall/Reinstall the offending Driver.
Sometimes it is necessary to Uninstall/Reinstall additional drivers, particularly those sharing the same IRQ.
Less often, it is necessary to "reserve" an IRQ for a particular driver to avoid conflicts.
This last condition "reserve an IRQ" is above my pay grade and would require a good bit of reading on my part to comment with anything approaching sensibility.

Glad that your Uninstall/Reinstall procedure sorted things out for you.
Most likely that will be the end of your difficulties.
If not, post back and we'll see if we can get a more knowledgeable Member to explain things and recommend a fix.
If my above explanation is unclear or not to the point, I welcome other Members jumping in to provide a more useful description.
Best Regards
