Internet Explorer shutting down

Help! It's been four days now from the moment my IE went bezerk! It has a kind of strange comportament as if he decided to not let me make more than five jumps from a page to another or open more than four tabs at a time. It drives me crazy to work and be forced to log in 20-30 times a day because it says "IE cannot display this page". If I try to repair the connection, says that the winsock catalogue is preventing other computers to aquire the network ( by the way my computer isn't part of a network) and is repairing it; restarts and…surprise : nothning changed! Please help me! Adrian
