IExplore.exe does not die!

Hi,

I have a work Machine here which will stop displaying any page at random intervals. when i open a new page, it does not go to my home page (Google.co.uk) and i cannot navigate to another one either, just blank white page.

On further investigation, i discovered that i could not kill any iexplore.exe. I have to reboot the PC which is far from ideal.

I have deleted cookies and temp files, Ran a virus Scans, re-downloaded new profiles, disabled NICS(as Duel here), confirmed Speed and Duplex is optimal, but to no avail.

I have thought about reinstalling IE and Office but i think there is something more to it.
