I was demoted form Administrator of this site today because the current administration say they have too many administrators and I have not been active enough lately to retain my permissions.
Though I agree with the above statement I have also been denied access to the threads posted here in this forum by me. From today on they should be totally ignored because I no longer have access to keep them up-to-date which makes the instructions in them dangerous for anyone to follow.
I have requested that the owner of this site remove these threads as I am unable to update them and I do have copyright for all of them. That request was denied
I will not be responsible for anything posted in my name at this forum after this time and date as I have been denied access to keep them updated. The owner of this forum is in violation of Canadian Law and will be held accountable for his actions.

This site is located in the US, and governed by US laws. When you make a post on a forum, you create an implied license that the forum can use and distribute that content, within the context of the forum. While you do own copyright to your contributions, so does the site. As a former admin, you've created a number of important topics and it would be irresponsible to our staff, our members, and our visitors to simply delete every topic you've started, or post you've contributed to. We will be updating a number of topics, and there's a good chance many of yours will be replaced. We will of course keep the others updated as needed.

I feel for you, dgosling. It's a shame. Unfortunately the owner of a forum has every right to do what they like with it, including shoot themselves in the foot. Your many friends and admirers are indignant on your behalf.
We have the Emeritus group for inactive admins at SWI. They retain all their privileges except for ACP access.
