My computer is running at 100% memory utilisation or close to. I have run updated Norton Antivirus Scanner, AVG Virus and AVG Spyware.
Every 2 minutes or so a window pops up saying SYSTEM WARNING Warning: a problem with the cooling system has been detected. Please turn off the computer immediately and return it for service.
I have had the cooling system checked by an IT Specialist and it's working properly and there's nothing wrong.
Any suggestions will be very much appreciated.
Do you have both Norton Antivirus and AVG Antivirus running active on that machine at the same time?
What loads do you see int TaskManager - Processes?
How new/old is the machine? Warranty?
How many hard drives do you have running with your RAID array?
Are you also running SLI video cards?
What cooling system are you using?
Where is the tower physically located? on top of table/underdesk/inside built-in slot/on carpet/against wall/
Is there decent air circulation behind the machine?
Is your cooling system separate from your tower or built in/ or attached?
With a bit more information, we may be able to help.
Best Regards
Only one drive.
OEM video card. Don't know if it's SLI
OEM Cooling system (I had it checked today and there's nothing wrong) It comes on and off as normal.
How did the professional Tech measure that the cooling system was working properly?
Did he take any temperature measurements?
Use Software to check Temperatures?
Check Temperatures via BIOS?
Or did he just look at the case from the outside to determine that the fans were running?

I wonder about your Battery — Overheating Problems
Have you checked it against a Toshiba Recall list?

That's alot of Processes, but maybe not for your laptop.
The reason I inquired about # of Hard Drives in RAID configuration, is that your running processes show RAID Controller:
C:\Program Files\Toshiba\TOSHIBA RAID\Console\Kraidman.exe
Maybe you have two hard drives configured in RAID and didn't realize it?
A RAID array only shows as a Single Drive in Windows Explorer and in most third-party inventory type programs.
So you may have been believing you have a single hard drive — C:\ , when it is actually two in RAID-0
Or maybe you do have only one hard drive?
But why then is there a RAID Controller? for expansion perhaps?
Sorry, I was just surprised, because I wasn't thinking about a Laptop having a RAID configuration.

For a better look at the machine, please do the following:
Run the Full Tests at PCPitstop
http://www.pcpitstop.com
Register and create your own password
Accept the ActiveX component to enable your machine to run the Full Tests
Post the TechExpress Link to your Results, back here into this Forum.
The above will not interfere with your Malware Removal work.
Nor will I be giving you instructions that will interfere with the work you have going with Markka.
The Full Tests take about 2-3 minutes on most machines
The registration and ActiveX are both SAFE.
Hi Roligan,
I hope you realize that I'm intentionally not replying in your OCP Thread, as we wait for your Malware Removal work to be completed.
If you require additional assistance at that time, please post back.
Best Regards
OK I'll look into it.
Dr. Web CureIt has been running for 8 hours so far because memory usage is running at 100%. Probably has 3 hours left.
It hasn't found anything yet.
