Just Reinstalled Os And Everyhing Seems Odd

Hi i just reinstalled my os on my dell and nothing seems right all of my drivers work and evertying but there is still some stuff on the harddrive from befor and from what i have been told there shouldnt be I have also tried setting up my internet again and well that wont work either i can seem to get anything back to factory again can some on ehelp me?

Hi Halfwolf, Seems to me like you've installed your OS on your hard-drive, without formatting it first! You may want to go to start > Control Panel > Performence & Maintinence and do a System Restore to just before you did the installation of the OS. This is your best bet. Let me know what happens. ok so i should go ahead and to that then reinstall the os again and that will put it back to new?

I did that and wow kool it is like new tysvm i have another question i went and pulled in the ethernet and ran though the set up wizard but ummm nothing do i need to restart my modem wen i do that or is tthere another wya to set it up
