My laptop is acting funny I have to hit a key multiple times before it will type and my touch pad isn't working please help

Howdy mueller, Welcome to Tom Coyote. Have you had any indications from some recent scan that your issues are infection related? They sound quite a bit like software settings or even hardware problems right off.
