Pc Gone Crazy!

hello and good day i was brought a pc by a friend of mine that would not load past the bios , was a bios prob. (disabled hard drive detection , changed to deteck , then i performed clean up process that found 1002 spyware , ad-ware -trojans -ect… also found 13 virusrs and 2 sets of hacker tools , and a program that limeted his internet connection ( internet theif ) so we have now gotten the pc back under our control to wich has taken me a week & 1/2 , every thing checks out fine except it still runs slow on some programs as in defrag and scandisk !!!!! okay this pc is a self build rig it has a gigabit motherboard / dual bios /512 ram / cd writer/ dvd rom /samsung 60 gig ata hard drive /floppy drive /amd anthalon xp 2400 / 400 wat power suply/ati 7200 series 64 o.b.mem/2 case fans /with windows xp professional the funny thing is that now it is an illegal copy of window !!!!! his brother is sending all the disk with all the product keys but this is going to take a whil;e for his bother is in the military over seas I am truely stumped !!!!!!!! any advice !!!!! we can not get updates after the first try !!!!!

Got a "legal" copy of XP installation CD? must be same as what is installed, e.g. OEM or Retail license Product ID. Have the soldier overseas send the product ID information. Install from the legal CD and enter the Product ID.

you wont get any updates without passing windows genuine activation, which you will have to download/run first. no doubt it will fail with the illegal copy of windows.

I also forgot to add that windows update is continously trying to do updates as in saying that updates are ready even when the pc has not been online for a couple of days and when I click on it the pc freezes , i am able to get updates for all and any other programs when online !!!! also i have put these on for protection AVG free Ad-aware se personal Spybot search & destroy Spyblaster Zone Alarm Ie-spygaurd Iobit windows Advanced Care C-Cleaner Diskkeeper DrvCareVista Belarc Advisor these to check systen Pc wizard 2007 Cpuz I have been useing Iobit for 6 mnths personally self and love it !!!!!!

hey guys thanks for the reply !!!! going to get everest …. already have windows gen. advantage !!!! after it installed when probs with being slow and doing updates and the illegal copy started !!!!! the cd and prod. key is on the way but having to wait on the sister inlaw , just had a baby !!! you guy are great !!!! will get back to you Mike
