Keyscrambler

Hello, My wow account got hacked a couple of days ago. I was wondering if anyone knows if it is worth getting a KeyScrambler software to protect against keyloggers. Its a software that somehow encrypts all your keyboard strokes. And if yes, whats the best one? Thanks, Roger

Sorry I forgot to answer that question in the HJT forum. I don't know much about them but you already have Firefox.

not sure how your account was hacked, one way could have been been by downloading cheats or hacks for the game. i think a good antimalware app or two will protect you against keyloggers (by scanning). the keylogger in order to capture/send data would be on your computer. unless somebody has physical acsess to your computer and installed a hardware keylogger. another trick is getting a email directing you to a "spoofed" website asking for, you guessed it: your account info. shelf life
