is there a free keylogger that anyone would recommend for windows vista? If not, is there one that I can purchase that someone would recommend?

Hi,
Regrettably I cannot recommend that any key logger be used.

For what purpose is this exactly? Parental control? Please let us know as it could help us find something for you.

Just a word of warning - Most keyloggers (personal or otherwise) are detectable by an anti-virus, even if they're 100% clean, so chances are that if you install even a genuine keylogger on a PC for parental control etc, your own anti-virus will pick it up.
If you're wanting to use parental control on a PC, then you're best off buying a cheap and cheerful package from a leading store/website.
Just my 2 cents.

I had some luck with 007, although it's not free, it does have some nice features.
FYI Most a/v's should have the option to exclude a directory from scanning. (AVG Does) and you *should* be able to tell it to ignore the process itself too.

One wonders why people forget vista has parental controls built in.
