Hi Koreyvarcoe.
I am glad yor IE is working fine.
I would like to know if it was because of the file checker you run?
This would help me with others to know the best to fix IE.
also how is the rest of your pc doing?
When a little guy like me trys to help a person with a messed up PC, and gives advice the only way I know if the fixes are doing there job is feed back from you.
I have no way of knowing if you ran Dr.Web CureItto or not?
or after IE started working if you tried to run the Kaspersky AntiVirus?
I have no idea what fixes you did or didn't do. If your Pc is doing well let me know.
Your answeres help me and others to know what fixes do the trick.
So I can post some things for you to do to keep it working fine.
Please let me know something about what going on.
Thanks mschroe919
PS
Tuesday I am going into hospital, so I would like to finish this log first. However if I don't there will besomeone here to finish it for me…good luck

Hi Koreyvarcoe
I believe your file c:\Windows\System32\jscript.dll is damaged and the sfc scannow may repair it and other files which may be damaged.
I suggested this and I am not sure you run it.
Click on start, then click on run, in the run box type CMD, then click on ok.
Once in dos screen type THIS:
sfc /scannow –Note: There is a space between sfc and /scannow
Click 'OK'
once file checker is done reboot and see if java works.
You may need your XP/2000/ME disk. If you don't have it and instead only have a recovery CD, there is a work around. View the following link for a tutorial:
http://www.updatexp.com/scannow-sfc.html
sfc - system file checker, retrieves the correct version of the file from %Systemroot%\System32\Dllcache or the Windows installation source files, and then replaces the incorrect file.
If you want to see what was replaced, right click My Computer > manage, expand event viewer > system.
How about Dr. WebCureit log. It too can find something corrupting your Java.
Good luck mschroe919

Hi Koreyvarcoe,
Milt has gone to the hospital and asked me to take over your log. Are you still obtaining that error? I believe your jscript.dll file is corrupt and was hoping that the system file checker would fix the file. Have you been able to run that?
Also please do a search on the jscript.dll file. What other locations do you find it besides your System32 folder?
