Files Playing Blury... Media Player.

Hi all, long time no see Well basically, my latest problem is this: I normally play all my .avi and .wmv files on Media Player. After a recent reinstallation of XP, the videos play all horrible and blury. The audio is fine, but the picture is awful. I've tried installing the K-Lite Codec pack but it's not helped. I played the file in VLC media player and it is blury, but if i go to the setting: AUDIO >>> VISUALISATIONS >> GOOM it plays like it normally would. It's almost like there's something sitting on top of the picture distorting it. Any help would be appreciated thanks

aaaah i fixed it. I Messed around with the 'overlay' colours on my Nvidia graphics card. Sorry to make a topic but i was confused at the time. Hope this might help someone else in the future!
