mp4 converter

Sorry if this isn't in the right place but I have been trying to find a mp4 converter so I can put videos in my iPod video. Is it possible to download any that will let me convert videos longer than just a few minutes? Thanks in advance

i will be checking into this myself soon, , got a cowon D2 heading towards me when they are back in stock. forget apple/ms full of DRM
