WORD HELP

Suddenly, while working in word, everything change to extra large letters. Carried over to everthing in my computer. Does anyone know how to get rid of this? Thanks.

Hi Sorry to hear of the problem with Word. Before you try to uninstall and then reinstall Word, there are two steps that I would be inclined to try: make sure Word is closed and NOT running: Do a search for the file: normal.dot and rename it to: znormal.dot Note, by doing this you will force Word on its next start to recreate the file normal.dot and as the old version is probably damaged it may solve the problem. close down your computer and after a 30 second wait restart it and see if this fixes things. Post back if it doesn't work and we can then try step 2 Note when you search you will need to look in hidden system files as the file is usually (but not always) to be found in: C:\Documents and Settings|User Name*\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates * user name is generally the name under which your system was originally set up ie John Doe or whatever.
