Hello John and Welcome to TomCoyote,

Let's get started. Please be patient because it looks like you have many things in your log. Please do the following:

Please set your system to show all files; please see here if you're unsure how to do this.

Scan with HijackThis. Place a check against each of the following:
R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
O2 - BHO: 0 - {BE3DFD08-D612-460F-69BC-4DCFCD5CE1A5} - C:\Program Files\Movie Maker\qucanofav.dll (file missing)
O3 - Toolbar: Morpheus Toolbar - {3F3714A9-89A4-46be-8AF3-D0C9D1FB03F9} - C:\Program Files\MorpheusBar\bar\1.bin\MORPHBAR.DLL
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WinTools] C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\WinTools\WToolsA.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Á ³#
K"h'þ9Óœ÷3rÅ WC:\Program Files\ISTsvc\istsvc.exe] C:\WINDOWS\wlavl.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [strmsnnrs] msnmcgrs.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WINTASK] t4skgmr.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [polo] C:\WINDOWS\$MSI31Uninstall_KB893803v2$\polo.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [strmsnnrs] msnmcgrs.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [WINTASK] t4skgmr.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [strmsnnrs] msnmcgrs.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [WINTASK] t4skgmr.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Aaou] C:\Documents and Settings\John Taimi\Application Data\othb.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [PID41IER.exe ] C:\WINDOWS\system32\PID41IER.exe
O4 - Startup: TA_Start.lnk = C:\WINDOWS\system32\dwdsregt.exe

Close all windows or browsers except for Hijackthis. Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.

Reboot into Safe Mode: please see here if you are not sure how to do this.

Using Windows Explorer, locate the following files/folders, and delete them: (if they exist)
C:\WINDOWS\$MSI31Uninstall_KB893803v2$\polo.exe<=file
C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\WinTools\<=folder
C:\WINDOWS\wlavl.exe<=file
msnmcgrs.exe<=file (you may want to search to locate)
t4skgmr.exe<=file (you may want to search to locate)
C:\Documents and Settings\John Taimi\Application Data\othb.exe<=file
C:\WINDOWS\system32\PID41IER.exe<=file
C:\WINDOWS\system32\dwdsregt.exe<=file

Exit Explorer, and reboot as normal afterwards.

This scan works with Internet Explorer.

STEP 1.
======
Panda Active Scan
Please go to Panda ActiveScan.
Once you are on the Panda site click the Scan your PC button
A new window will open...click the Check Now button
  • Enter your Country
  • Enter your State/Province
  • Enter your e-mail address and click send
  • Select either Home User or Company
  • Click the big Scan Now button
  • If it wants to install an ActiveX component allow it
  • It will start downloading the files it requires for the scan (Note: It may take a couple of minutes)
  • When download is complete, click on Local Disks to start the scan
  • When the scan completes, if anything malicious is detected, click the See Report button, then Save Report and save it to a convenient location.
STEP 2.
======
Combofix
  • Download this file - combofix.exe
  • Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
  • When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply
Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

Post the contents of the Panda scan report, the ComboFix log along with a new HijackThis Log, by using Add Reply.
