I have come across a problem which I have been unable to resolve on my own. While starting up my computer I encounter a small popup box that says CxxFrameHandler with an OK button that I can either X out of or click ok. This box pops up right before the blue windows uploading screen, right during the black screen when the mouse becomes available. If I click ok or X out if it either one, anouther pops up and I have to click through 4 or 5 of them, this is followed by a couple of beeps and then the windows starts up. But if i don't do anything, the box dissapears and windows sticks in the blue starting up screen and never starts. Now once I get into windows it is sluggish and I have to click out of several more of the CxxFrameHandler boxes to get anything to work. But even then I can never get explorer to work or my virus scan…all other scans such as spyware scans work and firewall works. Was even able to use limewire with no problems at first, but then as soon as I shut down limewire it encountered a problem from this and would resopen itself every time I shut it down, so I had to remove it completely. I have tried several approaches but as yet have been unable to resolve this issue. And on the rare occasion I can get it to open my virus scan, the scan locks up and has to be shut down. I would appreciate any help I can get on this. Thnks
follow the directions and post a HighJackThis (HJT) log so that the experts on that forum can take a look at your system and determine if undesirable elements are present.
If you cannot use your computer to access the internet then you can access the site and download the programme on another machine, copy it to a floppy, thumb (flash) drive, CD or external drive and then copy it to your "unwell" machine. Be sure to run it from your "unwell" machine in it's own separate directory/folder, as this will automatically assist in creating a backup should you be asked to "fix" any lines. Reverse the above process to copy the log file back to an operational computer and post your log.
Your log file will be analysed by a trained and expert malware removal specialist who will give you detailed advice and specific instructions to remove any undesirable or malicious elements that may be present. If it takes a while for you to receive a response, if you can, please try and be patient, as the expert volunteers on that forum are in high demand, and often the number of folks requesting detailed advice and instructions exceeds the experts available.
