I recently downloaded proxomitron after cleaning my PC of malware. I usually use opera or firefox as my browser and was wondering if anyone could help me with setup for my browsers and installation of filters as I have been unable to do either correctly it seems. Any suggestions?

I read the help files. I found a set of filters that came with an installer, I was also wondering how to do it manually. What files in what directories an so forth. I have some of it figured out but i was looking for specifics.

hi couldbeworse,

i assume you are talking about the default filters that come with prox. and not the other custom set like JD5000 set?i have only used the default filters.

how to do it manually. What files in what directories an so forth

did you use the installer version, or zip file. once installed you have to setup your browser to listen on port 8080 and prox. must be running down by the clock. iam not sure what you need help with
