blue screen of death HELP

whenever i try to get onto my computer i get a blue screen saying that the file dv4_disp is a problem. its saying something is wrong with a driver. i can get into safe mode but nothing else. i know this isnt much information, im on a friends computer for now. ill do my best to get info to you that i can, but if anyone can help me out, please do. the only thing i can think of doing next is whiping the computer. we have gone back to another date and reset from there. no luck please and thank you in advance ceara

you must have a nvidia graphics card. read thru this thread about the issue for the details
