I've been advised by 'God' to switch to this forum…LOL My computer is rebooting at about 4 am from a shut down or hibernating state. 'God' suspected a 'Wake up on LAN' issue. I went into my BIOS and found 'Wake up on LAN' disabled! I suspect the other 'Gods' may have planted a back door trojan. It must be a dilly because I've run Trend Micro DOS virus scans,AVG,NOD32, Kapersky with 0 results. I noticed at least 60 94 errors, 'File in use or password protected' I suspect a rat hidden my registry. The idiots don't know I have a mechanical ON/ OFF switch before my Broadband connection reaches my computer. I always turn it off after my 'puter' sessions, so they are losing sleep trying to prise whatever information they are interested in. Help would be greatly appreciated………
Cheers,

PS: this might have something to do with my SSSS airline status with 'Homeland Security'.
A trained malware removal expert will then be able to give you individual and specific advice on the steps to take to clean your machine.
If you suspect that you have a "Trojan" then you should immediately disconnect your computer from the Internet. to prevent the bad guys taking control of your machine and using your personal/private or financial information for their own benefit.
Once your machine has been checked out and declared clean please post back in this forum if you still need non malware related information or advice.

Hi,
If LD Tate says your log looks clean then that's more than good enough for me!
There are no short cuts that I know of its just a case of sifting carefully through all your settings, not only in the BIOS (although you should check each and every field, not just the Wake on Lan enabled /disabled setting, as there are two or three places where the vital setting could be found)
Also check your power management settings in Control Panel. if you have a "dial up modem" installed in your machine check it's settings even if you don't use it. Task Scheduler often is a "culprit" and practically any application, that has a built in Updater, from Windows itself to Anti-virus programmes and anything that is set to start a task at a predetermined time, usually in the small hours of the morning needs to be looked at.
