So I got a virus which Micah 6:* cleaned up but at the same time I have been getting a BSOD from my RTNICXP.SYS.
I have downloaded and reintalled it and every time I reboot when connected to network BSOD comes back.
I can boot off network and get maybe 10 minutes of time after re-connectinng to the network.
Got any ideas??
Thanks
Hi DRGILL,
Hopefully, you've already discovered a solution for your problem.
if not, go to your Network Interface Card manufacturer's site to download the correct updated driver for that card. Remove your current driver before installing the new one. (there may be several drivers/updates offered at the manufacturer's site. not all of them may work or work as well, so you might experiment some)
As to your connection….. you may benefit from simply renewing your IP
Start - Run (type)IPConfig /Release
Start - Run (type)IPConfig /Renew
Keep us posted with your progress, since others can learn from your solution.
Sorry it's been such a delay since you posted your question.
Best Regards
