Question about possible problem

Hi, I just restarted my computer after having run CWShredder (which found nothing) in Safe Mode. During the transition from the Windows log on screen to the desktop a small window briefly popped up with a message to Wait. I then noticed that the desktop was starting in Classic View/Mode, which I have not had the computer set to in the five years I've owned it. Just going to the Control Panel provided an easy fix back to XP View (the same small window appeared again as the transition to XP mode occured), but I'm wondering why the change occured. I've used Safe Mode a dozen times or so, but never had this happen before. Is it indicative of any possible problems some of you may have heard of? Thanks.

Go to control panel > system > advance > settings > visual effects select "adjust for the best appearance" Then used a winXP default destop style the color "Blue" Right click the mouse >properties> appearance > select windows xp style select color scheme default "Blue" Font size normal Well thats its Hope this will help Eumic
