Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.1 Scan saved at 2:31:56 PM, on 1/28/2006 Platform: Windows XP SP2 (WinNT 5.01.2600) MSIE: Internet Explorer v6.00 SP2 (6.00.2900.2180) It all began when transferring files & settings from one drive to another to make a new boot drive and the transfer went wrong 'cause I'd failed to shut down WebRoot. Since then I've tried reinstalling XP, using System Mechanic and other software to check &/or repair registry, uninstalling/reinstalling software, downloading all associated upgrades & updates with little to no success. Some icons have changed and can't uninstall associated software so as to reinstall. Need help as I'm lost. :rant:
