Hi, I recently purchased a new computer, and today I tried to hook my old printer up with it…a multipass C555. The printer originally usees a parrell port, however my new Dell doesn't have this kind of port. So I go out and by a USB connector, and BLAM, it still doesn't work. To install the software, my computer has to recognize the cable/printer…but it doesn't. When I plug in my USB cable into the port I get the "bud ump" sound…so I don't know what's up.
