i was unable to delete a folder from my desktop.. it is actually a folder from my digi cam.. i drag n drop it on my desktop.. then later when i want to delete the folder, it cant be deleted and it said that there's a program running that file which im sure it wasn't.. what could possibly be the problem? i hereby include a screenshot

Hi Ryan - if you're absolutely certain there's nothing in that folder that you want, try deleting it in Safe Mode (restart your computer and immediately begin tapping the F8 key on your keyboard..when the menu appears use the arrow keys to highlight 'Safe Mode' and press the Enter key).
Once you are in Safe Mode, try deleting the folder from the desktop, then restart your computer again in Normal mode.
