windows xp style setting in display

hi after running various spyware my text is stuck in windows classic, when i go to display then appearance and then windows and buttons i only have the classic option, what has happened to my xp style option and how can i get it back? thanx

Click Start>Run, type in services.msc. Look for the Themes Service. right click on it. Choose Properties. Start the service if it has been stopped. Change the Startup to Automatic. Reboot.

tried that but it says services.msc doesnt exist, doesnt recognise

ah yeah after a few tries i got into it. but it was on start and auto and still the same, any other ideas?

Insert your Windows XP CD.

Click Start>Run, type in cmd, hit Enter.

Type:

EXPAND X:\I386\LUNA.MS_ C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\Luna\LUNA.MSSTYLES

Where X:\ is the CD-ROM drive-letter.
