Hi,

I have had some experiece with CWS on a friend's computer in the past so was familar with your forum but it had never happened to me until I recently encountered similar symptoms. Whatever malware (perhaps not the proper term) that has taken hold of my system is causing a total system shutdown with automatic reboot when I try to download certain things through MSIE or go to any technical support site. After automatic reboot, there is a message saying "The system has recovered from a serious problem, do you want to send a report to Microsoft?"

I downloaded Monzilla as a potential solution and switched from Panda Platinum protection to NAV 2004 in hopes of catching or preventing future problems, to little avail.

I also was trying to install a router and VOIP prior to realizing how serious this problem really is so it is possible that I may have made an error while partially completeing that process as well.

Thanks in advance for your much needed help. My log file is below:
