My (work) computer is driving me nuts! I'm rebooting at least 5 times a day (even more right now with me trying to install this printer). All within the past month (worked perfectly fine before) my msn doesn't work properly, my Maximizer is having countless amounts of script errors, I can't install this printer (getting an error about PaperPort), if I try and use IE my Ralink Wireless connection is cut off, within minutes of starting up my system some files I'll try to open already say "not enough system resources", I just keep getting error messages left right and center. I'm wondering if there's something going on in the background that my anti-virus/malware (symantec and prevx1) programs aren't catching. Can someone take a look at my HJT log and see? If you need any information please let me know. If anyone can help me, it would be greatly appreciated because this computer is seriously slowing me down.

Hello crysteague and welcome to the TomCoyote Forums! :wavey: We apologize for the delay in responding. We are swamped with requests and some topics do get occasionally overlooked because of it. Are you still experiencing problems with the machine? If you are, and this is a work computer, I would suggest if it is possible for you to have it looked at by the IT department (if there is one) where you work. They will have the tools necessary to troubleshoot whatever is wrong with the specific software you are running that is required for your work. Again, if an IT department exists, that would be your best bet. If any restrictions are in place, any attempt at cleaning it out or troubleshooting the problem would likely fail, as most tools require administrator privileges to run. Please post back and tell me whether you can fix it (we can likely help you do it if you have sufficient rights) or have your IT department look at it. Again, sorry for the delay. Regards,
Actually, this is only a small business so there is no IT department. I am the adminstrator for all the computers in this office. So I have access to everything. The computer has been behaving somewhat normal for the past few days, but I haven't been using it to the extent that I usually do. Up until Wednesday of last week I was getting error messages left right and center and I was restarting at least 5 times a day. Haven't had any real problems since though. It seems strange to me, that I could have so many problems and they just disappear overnight? Oh well. It seems to be working now. If it starts going back to the way it was, I'll repost. Thank you for your time. I appreciate it:) -Crystal
OK, I just wanted to make sure that an easy way out wasn't available for you. From the looks of the log, it seems you had some nasty infection(s) there. It doesn't look as though any of them are active that I can see now, but remnants of them remain. We can try cleaning them out if you want. That may help. But I want you to post a new Hijack This log before we start so the information I have is accurate and up to date. Regards,

Please download and run CWShredder here
Make sure that all browser windows are closed with the exception of Cwshredder and choose FIX.

We have found that some of the CWS infections can be removed better from safe mode, rather than normal mode.
To get to safe mode use the F8 key while booting the machine.
Detailed instructions from here

Hi, Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I really appreciate the time you've taken so far. I've just been too busy to put enough time aside to fix this thing. It still acts strange every now and then. It can be fine for a week or two, and then it's giving me problems left right and center. Like today, already getting "insufficient recourses" messages. Oh well, I will see what I can do about getting through this, I just don't know if I should be doing this or not. I don't want to mess up the comps! It's an insurance business, so EVERYTHING is on this comp.
