Since I began using Window XP Pro SP1, I've had problems with the 'search' utility becoming corrupt. 'sfc /scannow' fixes the problem every time but usually within a week or two it gets corrupted again. So, I'm assuming one or more of the windows system files get corrupted. What I'd like to know is whether anyone here knows how to find out which files are corrupt. From there maybe I can find a way to stop it from happening. Or at least I won't have to wait 45 minutes to run 'sfc', I can just replace the bad files. :wall:
