I borrowed a friends computer sun nite and used my flash drive to open a file. she claims that since I came over she is getting the message the ntldr is missing and it wont boot. I know very little about computers but I think I have ran across this before and it has something to do with the boot record or boot loader? how can I fix this for her. I installed windows 2000 professional on it and try to help her if she has problems with it, but I am really confused how this can happen.can anyone help?
Whenever I've seen that specific error, it's because the PC is trying to boot from elsewhere. Check that she doesn't have a floppy or CD in the drives!
