HelloSiggyx. Same two problems remain. 1) On entering msg118.dll or msguard.dll in Google Bar/Search I get message ERROR > The requested URL could not be retrieved. Tjhe following error was encountered > ACCESS DENIED. 2) In Symantec>Security Check>Virus Detection>Start After message Downloading ActiveX Controls the next message is The ActiveX Controls failed to load. The culprit is msg18.dll and msguard.dll which simply cannot be deleted. Also no matter how many times I delete the following TWO entries from the Registry it crops up again and again. HKLM\SOFTWARE\CLASSES\CLSID{DDFFA75A-E81D-4454-89FC-B9KD0631E726} HKLM\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\CURRENT VERSION\SHELL EXTENTIONS\APPROVED {DDFFA75A-E81D-4454-89FC-B9KD0631E726} I believe these are associated with VX2/h.ABetterInternet and/or Look2Me. Even down loadedVX2Finder but no go. Just help me to delete these. Nariman
I see that you are also receiving help over at spywareinfo. As time is limited and the number of people requiring assistance is not I would advise that you stick with one forum. I am closing this thread and you should continue at spyware info.
