How do I switch between programs (i.e.) games and e-mail in Windows 10 or Google with one easy step?

I just click on the appropriate icon on the taskbar...

I wrote a python script a while ago that uses Xlib and XBindKeys, so I can hit Ctrl+Win+# to tag a window and then Win+# to switch to that window
