Hi,I am running windows 7 pro 64 and have python 2.7 installed,It must have been installed by a 3rd party because I never installed it myself.

I don't know which software installed it.

I recently ran psi secunia and it says python requires an update.I checked in Add/Remove programs and can't find it on the list and typed python in my search bar and it brought up nothing.

How can I find where it is installed and should I just update it so it doesn't mess up any other program rather than uninstall it?

Any help appreciated.

Does Python show up in your Start menu? If so, right click on it and select Propetrties. That will tell you where it's installed, most likely C:\Program Files (X86)\Python …

I use a great little program called Everything to find any file on my computer, instantly. Use little system resource.

Install it, give it a few minutes to index your files then run it and type python. All locations will be shown.
